Join our Real Estate team in Grimsby as a Paralegal, where you'll work in a dynamic environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to transition into the legal field or take their career in a new direction.
You will be assisting Partners and other Solicitors in providing Real Estate advice to the firm's developer/house builder clients, handling a broad range of quality development work for a variety of clients.
What you'll do
- Dealing with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, and assisting with higher-value, complex transactions, including portfolio sales and purchases.
- Maintaining files so that they are clear and well-organised and ensuring that each file is reviewed on a regular basis and by reference to the monthly matters list produced by the accounts team.
- Dealing with S106 planning agreements and other statutory agreements (section 38,104 etc.) for residential/commercial developments.
- Handling development documents including options, conditional contracts, overage provisions, and promotion agreements (with guidance where appropriate from Partners).
- Managing enquiries from telephone callers and clients effectively and efficiently.
