Now in its sixth edition, IEUK is a core part of the university experience. This year's experience has been designed specifically to give students completing their first undergraduate degree exclusive insights into the Technology & Engineering sector.
Spend 4 days this summer:

Who can attend
Studying at a UK university (in the UK)
Graduating from your first undergraduate degree or integrated Master's in 2026, 2027, 2028 (or 2029 and on a four-year course), or
Starting a Master's degree in autumn 2025 after graduating from your first undergraduate degree in summer 2025
18 years or older
No experience is needed and all degree subjects welcome β this is your chance to get some initial work experience and explore the different career paths available to you
Sponsorship opportunities with participating employers may be limited for attendees without the permanent right to work in the UK

How does IEUK work?
Step 1: Choose your sector and shape your learning journey. By selecting the Technology & Engineering stream, you'll gain exposure to the variety of career paths available in this creative and entrepreneurial sector.
Step 2: Apply in just 10 minutes by letting us know why youβve picked your chosen sector.
Step 3: Secure a place, add Internship Experience UK to your calendar and tell your LinkedIn network about your involvement!
Step 4: Attend virtually on 14th - 17th July and join skill-building and sector insight sessions that will inspire your career journey. Just show up to get started β the agenda is all set, so all you have to do is follow the guidance over the 4 days.
Step 5: Finish the experience by completing the Sector Skills Project, which you'll receive the brief for at the end of Day 2 and can work on over the following couple of days. You'll then leave the experience on Day 4 with new connections, skills, industry knowledge, commercial awareness and a certificate to enhance your LinkedIn profile!
What is the schedule?
One stream of Internship Experience UK takes place over 4 days, and you'll need to be available for the times below:
- 14th July - 9:30 - 17:00 (BST) - Focus of the day: skill-building.
- 15th July - 9:00 - 16:45 (BST) - Focus of the day: sector deep dive.
- 16th July - 9:00 - 15:00 (BST) - Focus of the day: Sector Skills Project and networking.
- 17th July - 9:00 - 14:45 (BST) - Focus of the day: project submission, reflections and wrap up.

Can I attend?
IEUK 2025 is open to UK university students who are:
- Graduating from your first undergraduate degree or integrated Master's in 2026, 2027, 2028 (or 2029 and on four-year course), or
- Starting a Masterβs degree in autumn 2025 after graduating from your first undergraduate degree in summer 2025
- 18 years or older
- Bright Network member. If you're not already a member, sign up when you click apply (itβs free)!
No experience is needed and all degree subjects welcome. This is your chance to get some initial work experience and explore the different career paths available to you.

I've done IEUK before. Will this year be the same?
Each year's experience is completely unique, so if you did the experience last year or the year before, we recommend taking part again. All the sessions will be different, plus we'll have more employers joining us and you'll complete a new Sector Skills Project. There are even more features this year to help you make the most of the experience.
