Wheatley is looking for an outstanding graduate to join our Ignite graduate programme in housing. Successful applicants will provisionally start in July 2021.
The role
Graduate role will primarily be based from home with some regular travel when required to offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dumfries and Galloway and surrounding areas. Our two-year programme offers our graduate the opportunity to build on their academic achievements and develop a career they can be proud of.

You’ll benefit from a bespoke training plan, including an accredited housing qualification, designed to accelerate your learning. You will gain a solid foundation of working in housing so you're ready to become a housing officer within the first six months of joining the programme.
To be successful you must
· have graduated within the last two years with a 2:1 honours degree or higher;
· be a self-starter who is confident using technology and embraces change. Graduates will lead the way in our digital journey as we continue to work remotely. You will relish the challenge of working on your own initiative;
· place people at the heart of your decisions;
· pay attention to detail, but also see the bigger picture by considering the wider environment we work in and the impact of what we do; and
· meet the role requirements within the specific job profiles.
Salary and benefits
Wheatley Group rewards our people with an exceptional package of benefits.
Successful graduate will earn a starting salary of £26,000 (with the potential to move up to £28,000 after 18 months).
In addition, our graduate will also get:
- an accredited housing qualification (minimum Chartered Institute of Housing Level 4);
