As an Intern- Junior Procurement Program Management, you’ll support all procurement activities in assigned programs to assure readiness for pre-pilot, pilot, and execution. You will report to the Senior Procurement Program Manager. You will work remotely.
If this sounds like an environment you would grow in, we're looking for a 12-month Internship as an Intern Junior Procurement Program Management supporting international procurement programs.
Key responsibilities
- Help develop procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams.
- Support in the Preparation and coordination of the RFx Process and establish sourcing strategies for suppliers and services:
- Help prepare Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)
- RFx development and preparation
- Solicit quotations and analyze contract proposals
- Support the analysis and the evaluation of all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify cost improvements.
- Help develop the strategies to maximize supplier base cost/value.
- Use the corporate Approved Supplier List Process for sourcing requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirement and Westinghouse´s Procurement procedures
- Support the Contract preparation and purchasing process
- Help manage supply and supplier commitments.
- Support senior management in the development of visual management and reporting through the use of Power Bi and other more custom systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or related field
