Support the Head of Expenses with the monthly Expense reporting and annual budgeting process.
The role
The main tasks are but not limited to:
- Collaborate with other internal functions to produce budget vs Actual departmental expense reports.
- Conducted cost analysis and provided insights to support decision-making.
- Analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures.
- Monitor and report on performance against the budget.
- Help with the production of quarterly Executive expense packs
Working with the Accounts Payable Manager to deliver a timely and accurate month-end close. The main tasks are but not limited to:
- Review outsourced teams' coding and Journal, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Assist with bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Complete Month-end closure journals when required
- Prepare monthly accrual posting
- Review monthly fixed asset schedules and review journals
- Run and maintain the service company trial balance
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required

Qualifications
- AAT or Accounting and Finance Degree essential
- Minimum 1 years’ experience
- Work towards professional accounting qualifications with provided study support
Experience
- Knowledge of Prepayments, fixed assets and reconciliations necessity
- Intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables, linking and filtering essential
