- This is a permanent role working 40 hours a week, across five 8-hour shifts (09:00–17:00, 10:00–18:00, 11:00–19:00).
About us
We are a newly extended practice with more modernised space to treat our ever-growing base of pets. A forward thinking, close working team with a passion for pets and exceptional client service.
Here in Altrincham, we have reimagined how a practice works, putting our team at the centre of everything we do, which is reflected in our expansion. We have 5 consultation rooms, 2 theatres and a dedicated recovery area. We also have a set space for Vet Study and a large colleague rest room. We run 20-minute consults as standard and protected days with no client contact to focus on your patients and yourself.
Our team is currently made up of 4 full time vets, 3 RVN’S, 1 Auxiliary Nurse, 2 SVN and 2 VCA’s, along with a front of house Client Care team, led by our proactive Practice Manager who champions well-being, fosters team cohesion and ensuring team success.
About the role
We’re looking for a 1st-year Student Veterinary Nurse who has:
- A secured college placement
- You must of achieved a Level 2 Diploma for Veterinary Care Assistants
- Experience working in a veterinary practice
- A passion for animal care and learning
- A collaborative and can-do attitude
