UItra Rapid is a music-assisted learning platform, built in Unity, designed to support children who struggle with traditional learning methods, with particular focus on those who are neurodivergent. Our intention: “Sounds Like Spotify, Looks like Twitch, Feels Like Nintendo”. The concept won Thiiia the Just Imagine If (2024) research grant from the University

This software engineering role focuses on the early development stages of Ultra Rapid involving planning, optimising and integrating the tech stack for the platform. This will involve novel audio and visual integrations into the Unity game engine.

You will work with Felix Weaver from Thiiia and Professor Richard Mitchell from the Department of Computer Science

Interviews will be held: 2nd May 2025
