    About the role

    The Research and Knowledge Exchange Service (RKES) provides support to researchers in their research and enterprise journeys, from assistance with innovations, training, to funding, dissemination and knowledge exchange support.

    The IP & Commercialisation Unit within RKES is looking to recruit a graduate to undertake a 12 month internship which will provide a career development opportunity.

    The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, undertaking specialised commercialisation and administration tasks related to unregistered and registered IP rights (patents, designs and trade marks) and undertaking assessments of innovations at the initial stages of the commercialisation pathway.

    About you

    The successful candidate will be a recent graduate of no more than two years from an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a STEM subject with an interest in business or commercialisation.

    The role requires experience of working in an office environment with office administrative and IT skills, an excellent standard of written English and a high level of drive and initiative in achieving tasks.
