The A Side: A Day in The Life
In this position, the Intern will support the AMEA finance and strategy efforts by analysing growth drivers and financial performance across the entire region.
The Intern will assist the AMEA EVP & CFO on a broad range of topics, including market mapping, mergers and acquisitions, analysis in support of new business initiatives and cross-functional initiatives.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Be Analytical & Curious
- Participate in working on strategic projects aimed at understanding the evolution and growth areas of the music industry in those regions
- Perform competitive and market analysis
- Help run and build reports and dashboard in our Financial Reporting system, to support ad-hoc analysis
- Participate in research and analysis to support the team in evaluating potential acquisitions, investments and other strategic growth opportunities.
- Help build financial models to evaluate investment opportunities
Be Organised
- Help prepare discussion materials (presentations, internal memorandum, etc.)
- Help in the development and maintenance of Reporting KPIs
- Work on special projects as assigned in connection with the team goals and strategy
Be Collaborative & Driven
- Collaborate with the local teams to improve processes and facilitate team communication and decisions
Person Specification
- Excellent presentation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
- Highly self-motivated with ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives
- High level of intellectual curiosity, especially around technology and the music/entertainment industry
- Strong computer literacy and excellent excel (or equivalent) skills
- Relevant professional experience in banking, consulting, corporate development, or similar field desired
