As a Graduate Electronic Engineer you will join the team to help design analogue, digital and computer based electronic systems. To solve our customers' complex safety challenges with solutions that give full, long-term protection and control of mission critical systems.

Key responsibilities
- Agree the optimum solution in terms of cost, timescale and ease of implementation.
- Help to establish a number of customer solutions.
- Detailed analysis of specific aspects of existing equipment to establish requirements for replacement or refurbishment.
- Liaison with suppliers regarding supply and support of third party equipment.
- Carrying out specified design and development work in own area of competence.
- Support installation and commissioning of equipment on the customer’s site.
- Supporting good customer relationships by presenting a professional engineering approach to the work.
- Supporting the teams engineering capabilities with individual skill and determination.
- Developing personal engineering capability across the safety system and instrumentation areas.
- Produce technical reports, clearly identifying the preferred course of action and why after analysis of legacy designs.
- To carry out all work ethically, safely and in accordance with the relevant standards and best practice within the nuclear industry.
- Any other relevant duties as and when required.
Skills, qualifications, and experience
- Able to demonstrate skill and project experience in electronics/electrical systems
- Demonstrable ability in electrical work and/or analogue and digital electronics using conventional logic families and programmable logic
- Appropriate degree in an electrical or electronic field
- DOORS knowledge an advantage
- Capable of producing good oral and written communications
Desired skills
Has electronics equipment design or maintenance experience in a regulated industry
Essential functions
- Flexibility to travel within the UK
- Ability to obtain security clearance up to SC level
