The QA team play a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our SITS product by testing, identifying issues, and collaborating with the wider team to address them. They create and execute test cases, document results, and provide feedback to improve usability, performance, and reliability. The goal is to ensure that our SITS product meet established standards and deliver a great user experience.
Our SITS: Vision product is a comprehensive Student Information System designed for higher education institutions. It helps manage various aspects of the student journey, from recruitment and admissions to student support, retention, and outcomes.
You will be required to work from our Hessle office (close to Hull) for 3 days per week and two from home.
The role
As a Junior QA Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our SITS product. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating and evaluating Test Plans to thoroughly assess software quality throughout its lifecycle.
- Carrying out Test Plans, documenting and analysing test outcomes, and identifying any anomalies or issues.
- Offering valuable insights on the readiness of software for release, ensuring it complies with all standards and requirements.
- Working closely with diverse teams, such as developers, product managers, and support staff, to resolve defects and enhance product quality.
- Contributing to the ongoing refinement of our testing practices by sharing fresh ideas and perspectives.
While prior experience in quality assurance or software testing is not essential, any relevant background will be an advantage. This role provides significant opportunities for growth and development, with continuous learning initiatives designed to support your career path.
