    What you’ll be doing

    As our Communications and PR Assistant, you will work closely with the teams at both Big Life Schools, initially in particular Unity Community Primary, based in Cheetham Hill. Your main responsibility will be to generate content at the schools, and translate this into high-quality external communications and PR content.

    You will work alongside, and be supported by, The Big Life group’s wider Communications and Engagement Team, contributing to a workplan that aims to promote the school to new audiences, and attract more children and families to benefit from being part of Big Life Schools

    What we need from you

    • Experience of using social media for promotional purposes in a professional or personal capacity
    • Good knowledge of social media and digital channels
    • The ability to change your communication style for different audiences
    • Great attention to detail and writing ability
    • A positive outlook and flexible attitude.

    What we will offer you in return

    • An annual salary of £27,269 (NJC point 11)
    • A full time contract (35 hours per week) until December 31 2025
    • Based at Unity Community Primary three days a week, with remote working two days
    • 25 days holiday, and 30 after 5 years of service
