Overview of the Graduate Scheme

Our Engineering and Technology Graduate Scheme is designed to give you an all-encompassing experience across a variety of engineering disciplines, from design and industrial engineering to process engineering and beyond. Over two years, you’ll rotate across several UK sites, gaining exposure to different divisions and projects. This rotational programme offers you the opportunity to truly understand our business and the critical role engineering plays in what we do.

You will work closely with Sulzer’s highly experienced technical team, learning from their expertise while actively shaping your own development path. We empower you to take charge of your career growth, with the support and guidance of your colleagues.

What you'll be doing

  • Team up with diverse engineering departments to gain hands-on experience in design, industrial, and process engineering.
  • Participate in real-world engineering projects, applying innovative solutions that create value for our business.
  • Take part in the development of cutting-edge systems and processes to optimise productivity and enhance quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Rotate across various UK locations, experiencing different divisions to build a comprehensive understanding of our engineering processes.

What you bring

  • A 2:2 degree or above in engineering, such as mechanical, industrial, or process engineering.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a drive to learn and seize opportunities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and own your development.
  • Adaptability to travel across the UK as part of your rotational programme.
  • A valid passport and full UK driving licence.

Key dates to remember

  • Applications close Saturday 30th November (please note, early submission is encouraged as we may close applications sooner if we receive a high volume of interest).
  • We will be reviewing applications throughout December.
  • Screening calls for shortlisted candidates will take place during December.
  • Assessment centre invitations and/or interview requests will be sent out in January 2025.
  • Assessments will be held in February 2025, depending on the location and discipline.
