S&C offers a two-week summer placement scheme for candidates interested in joining the Firm as a trainee.

The role

During these two weeks, summer placement students shadow a partner or senior lawyer to help them get a feel for S&C's work and culture. There are also opportunities to meet socially the people who work at S&C, making this an interesting, rewarding and enjoyable introduction to the Firm.

Participants in the summer vacation scheme are paid £750 per week.

How to apply

To apply for the 2023 summer vacation scheme, please e-mail a copy of your CV (including a full classification and percentage breakdown of all academic results) and a cover letter to traineesolicitors@sullcrom.com.

We will accept applications for our 2023 summer vacation scheme from penultimate-year law students and final-year non-law students, as well as those studying for postgraduate degrees, from 1 November 2022 through 13 January 2023.

We expect to offer approximately eight to ten places on our 2023 summer vacation scheme.  We do not accept applications for our vacation scheme from law students in their first year of study or from non-law students prior to their final year of study.
