We seek a highly motivated individual to join Dr Hainsworth’s group at St George’s. The postholder will join a project investigating molecular mechanisms in endothelin-mediated vascular disease.

Responsibilities include handling of tissue samples, preparation of histological sections, histology and immunolabelling, RNA and protein biochemistry, maintenance of tissue archives and databases.

Key attributes of the successful applicant include

  • BSc degree in Biological or Biomedical Sciences or other relevant subject
  • Experience of histological techniques
  • Good teamworking, organisational, time-management and adaptability skills
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety requirements in a laboratory environment
  • Commitment to practices which embrace diversity and equality of opportunity
