Early Career Program
Do you want to launch your career within product management? Excellent, then this could be just the opportunity you've been waiting for! Our Rotational Product Management program (RPM) is crafted to develop aspiring product managers to become future product leaders with us.
The program targets new and recent college graduates with no or limited experience in product management. Having genuine interest in product management, being passionate about learning and building new things and experience of executing projects from start to finish will take you far.
Through our 15-months rotational program you'll practice the product management craft and gain experience in real projects of different natures across our business, working side by side with experienced Product Managers who will coach and mentor you along the way. This is a full time program starting in January 2023 in our offices in London, Stockholm and New York (all candidates must have graduated by December 2022).
During the three rotations you’ll get to work on different types of products we have at Spotify. Such as consumer facing products, internal products as well as new products. All set up to give you the opportunity to grow your skills across all parts of product management as helping to build a strong network within the product community at Spotify.
What You'll Do
- Work side by side with a more experienced PM on real products in three five-months rotations. The rotations will give you a broad set of product management skills.
- Responsible for clearly defined tasks within a specific project. Learns to produce actionable roadmaps and to identify trade-offs.
- Learn to create and track progress of OKRs for a specific project.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team of e.g. engineers, designers, researchers and data scientists throughout the product development cycle. Collaborating with partners across the business to drive impact against the company’s short- and long-term goals.
- Be part of a learning community together with a cohort of rotational product managers. Learn more about product management and the craft of developing products through structure learning modules.
- You will be based in our London, Stockholm or New York office.
Who You Are
- You are a new or recent college graduate (no later than December 2022).
- You have some experience in Product Development from internships or work in a complementary field (e.g. engineering, data, design, content, research, consulting, or entrepreneurship).
- You are interested in how products work “under the hood” and are comfortable collaborating and discussing technical approaches and challenges with engineers.
- You thrive in robust, cross functional teams and are driven to get stuff done, but with a collaborative approach. “You win when your team wins”
- You are entrepreneurial, and find feasible ways to validate big and novel ideas and are biased towards action and driving impact.
- You are able to take a vision and make it yours by communicating it in your own words and break it down into a strategy that your team buys into
- You have a strong focus on delivery of user value. This means understanding and sharing the user’s pain with the business and the team so that they are both able and encouraged to help.
- You learn quickly and can quickly digest and triangulate multiple sources of information.
- You are well organized and have phenomenal attention to detail.
- You are an excellent communicator in English, whether it be in words or in writing.

- Stage 1: 4th July to 22nd July - Applications/Interview with Recruiter (the application window will close on 9th July).
- Stage 2: 4th and 5th August - Interview focused on Product Management and Execution.
- Stage 3/Final: 11th and 12th August - 2x Interviews focused on Product Strategy, Leadership and Values.
- Outcome/Offer Stage: Week commencing 15th August.
