Ministry of Sound Records is a global entertainment record label. Over the last ten years the label has established an exciting roster of talent, successfully launching the careers of acts such as Eric Prydz, DJ Fresh, Example and Wretch 32 to name a few. The label’s current roster of artists includes BRIT-nominated and Ivor Novello-winning group London Grammar, whose albums have sold over three million copies globally, Riton and Sigala, as well as exciting new artists such as Regard, dodie, Franky Wah and Tia Carys. Ministry of Sound is also the UK home for Doja Cat, Oliver Heldens, Tate McRae and Joey Bada$$. The Role
This role sits within the Curation team, working on digital marketing and content for Ministry of Sound as a brand, in the music space. It’s a super creative role where you’ll be across our social media channels, playlists, mixes and artist collaborations. New and exciting ideas are always welcomed for activations and campaigns to push the brand and label releases. You’ll explore everything from creating content to curating the music that goes with it.

What you’ll do
- Assisting with the schedule, set up and execution of marketing campaigns
- Manage purchase orders related to curation spend in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage the setup and running of meetings for the Curation team
- Assist the co-ordination of content shoots, production and manage events across the Ministry of Sound brands
- Work closely with Ministry’s social media agency and oversee the day-to-day management of strategy, implementation & creative across all social channels
- Brief out video content and artwork assets for playlists and brand activations to external designers & creatives
- You will assist in some content creation for the team
- Stay up-to-date with music and trends to contribute towards creative ideas for marketing campaigns and brand activations
- Create decks and presentations for pitching, campaign analysis and updates.
- Provide support to the whole curation team where necessary including, playlist updates, file management and data collection
Who you are
- Excellent attention to detail
- You will be able to prioritise and shift your workload depending on the needs of the team
- Fast and willing to learn
- Good understanding of design and creative with ability to suggest ideas and carry out some creative content work
- Knowledge of the adobe creative suite
- Strong knowledge of commercial music and a wide range of genres, notably Dance & UK Black music.
- Knowledge of Ministry of Sound and the brand history, including knowledge of playlists and social presence across digital platforms
- Diplomatic attitude to manage numerous stakeholders to successful outcomes

Things to note
- We do not require you to have a degree or qualification in order to apply for this internship but you do need to be over 18+.
- The start date for the programme will be in January 2022
