This is a specialist role involving delivery of detailed and accurate master data in Hellenic and supporting on customer, raw material and packaging specifications that meet the high standards and requirements set by our customers. This will involve communicating across various departments to gather the required information, updating the Hellenic systems, and attending regular technical meetings.

Key accountabilities
- Maintain the label change process, keeping the Hellenic database up to date, maintaining the label change logs and providing label samples.
- Inputting Master data into Hellenic and checkweigher systems.
- Support spec team to maintain signed and agreed Raw Material Specifications, butchery specifications, processing specifications and QAS for all products produced at site and ensure these are regularly reviewed and updated where necessary.
- Maintain the specifications files with the most current, up to date specifications.
- Working closely with the Specifications Coordinator ensuring appropriate sign-off is obtained from them and the Site Operations Team for any changes to labels and specifications.
- Supporting artwork/label sign-off as required to meet deadlines.
- Attending and contributing to technical meetings.
- Attending customer meetings, as required, ensuring all information is accessible and professionally presented.
- Delivering specifications and other paperwork to the factory floor in a timely manner.
- Collecting samples for specification and QAS production.
- Maintaining Technical logs as and when required.
- Any other relevant tasks as deemed necessary.
- Safety in every task – understand and follow all site and department safety standards at all times to ensure the safety of you, all colleagues and visitors.
- Support implementation of new safety initiatives, supporting a best practice approach at all times.
- Near Misses and Accidents fully reported, in an appropriate and timely manner support any improvement actions as required.
- Observe hygiene and cleanliness procedures at all times, ensuring high GMP standards.

- Work with the production teams to ensure that the required labels and specifications are in place at all times.
- Raise Improvement Ideas to drive continuous improvement initiatives to deliver more efficient ways of working.
- Authority – have courage to stop any line that may be jeopardising the Safety of the product we produce and withhold product on site until all issues are resolved.
Skills and experience required
- Strong IT skills including use of Microsoft Office Tools i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ideally, experience of working in the chilled food sector.
- Good communication skills with the capability to communicate confidently internally & externally.
- Good team working skills with ability to work independently.
- Displays strong attention to detail and ability to report accurately.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and a ‘Right First Time’ attitude.
