As the Business Assistant Management Accountant, you'll play a vital role in the heart of our operations at our Coalville Site.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. You will play a key role in managing financial operations reports that support strategic decision-making within the company.

    Key accountabilities

    • Yield and Operational Reporting – Support yield reporting by analysing production data, waste, and efficiency metrics to provide insights that drive cost control and operational improvements.
    • Prepare and Analyse Financial Reports – Assist in producing monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and key performance reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to the Financial Controller.
    • Support Financial Administration – Oversee invoice coding, ledger maintenance, and routine financial admin tasks to support smooth month-end processes.
    • Assist with Stock and Costing Analysis – Support stock valuation, review cost movements, and ensure accurate reporting of material usage and variances.
    • Liaise with other departments in the operations team to assist with driving performance of the site as necessary
    • Answer phone calls from external parties and sign in visitors as an when required (shared throughout the office team)
    • Other Adhoc tasks as necessary

    Skills and experience required

    • Previous finance admin experience Essential
    • Experience and content with accurate data entry
    • Excellent computer & excel skills
    • A desire to progress within the Finance Team (with apprenticeship options available)
    • (Advantageous) AAT Qualified/Part Qualified, with Desire to progress within the Finance Team (with apprenticeship options available)
