We are recruiting an Assistant Accountant for the Financial Reporting team to support our month-end close and ongoing accounting and control activities. The business has experienced strong growth in the last few years and our Finance team is expanding.

How will I spend my time in this role?
- Month-End Tasks: Prepare accounting workpapers and journal entries, focusing on corporate opex, assets, and P&L allocations.
- Quality Control: Ensure accuracy in operational journal entries and contribute to financial data reliability.
- Reporting: Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and monthly project cost reports for key stakeholders.
- Approval Processes: Manage employee expense and entertainment applications for efficient operations.
- Compliance: Assist in annual statutory accounts preparation, external audits, and compliance activities like supplier callbacks.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Accounting Enthusiast: You have a foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial statements, either from work experience or education.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Energetic & Proactive: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take initiative.
