Internships within Life Sciences usually last around 12 weeks and are designed to expose individuals to working on client projects. Interns can expect responsibility from the outset as a valued member of the project team. What you bring
- A strong interest in Life Sciences
- A strong academic background, including degree level study
- Excellent communication skills
- High percentile numeric, verbal and inductive reasoning skills
- A strong desire to work in a fast paced commercially agile environment
- Enthusiasm, curiosity and a belief that you can achieve the best results
We offer internships to candidates from a variety of undergraduate subject backgrounds, though it is more common for Life Sciences interns to have a STEM or management subject background – what you bring with you enables you to thrive and helps us to continue to grow. Exposure to consulting within a student society is not required, but you will need to evidence your interest in commercial strategy and Life Sciences clearly in your application.

In your Cover Letter, we will be looking for an answer to the question “Why Simon-Kucher?”. We’d also like you to include, an example of a product or business that has caught your eye in the Life Sciences arena – what excites you about this product or business? Your application will be considered incomplete if you do not include this.
If your application is progressed, expect an early stage online selection test to demonstrate your numeric, verbal and inductive reasoning skills, followed by a first round Zoom interview with the HR team. We will be hosting a final round interview day in our London office on Tuesday 3rd October.
