An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team based in Bolton. The main purpose of the role is to assist with assessment, analysis and reporting of data captured by the company with primary focus on financial data and reporting.
What you’ll do
- Assist with the maintenance and improvement of the existing suite of performance reports and Microsoft Power BI dashboards
- Work with the FD / Finance Manager and other business leads to identify areas for better performance management information and develop new reports and dashboards as required
- Assist with the updating and co-ordination of monthly financial reporting information in Microsoft Excel
- Provide other analytical and financial support as required by the Financial Director and Finance Manager
- Co-ordinate and assist with the capture and storage of data from various systems within the company for usage in performance reporting
Have you got what it takes
- A logical, inquisitive and problem-solving mindset coupled with a hard-working attitude and a willingness to learn
- Strong Microsoft Excel and IT skills and an awareness of Microsoft Power BI
- Ideally a university graduate with a relevant degree or evidence of other formal financial training
- Training will be provided on Microsoft Power BI and Coins (ERP)
