    Right now, we’re looking for university graduates wanting to start their career in transfer pricing tax as a trainee. We provide full study support to enable you to develop personally and professionally, with the view to becoming a qualified tax advisor.

    This will be offered under a Level 7 apprenticeship and will take three years to complete.

    We expect tests and interviews to happen across April, with final interviews happening end of April-May.

    About your role

    Qualifying is not just about passing your exams; gaining valuable work experience is so important.

    You'll receive excellent training and support for your studies. We use first-class tuition centres and organise our own off-site trainee programmes. You’ll get to meet and socialise with trainees across all offices, so it isn't all just work, and you can have fun too.

    Transfer Pricing

    Full practical and technical training will be given on this popular area of tax advisory services and no previous experience or knowledge is required.

    Duties will include working with members of the transfer pricing and wider international tax team on the transfer pricing and international tax aspects of the client portfolio, including:

    • Attending meetings with clients and targets with members of the transfer pricing team
    • Assisting with the preparation of transfer pricing master and local files and transfer pricing design reports – including documenting business overviews, industry analyses, functional analyses and economic analyses which includes the analysis of financial data
    • Assisting members of the transfer pricing team with conducting transfer pricing research including on legislation, case law and HMRC guidance
    • Assisting with the preparation of transfer pricing advisory reports
    • Assisting with transfer pricing administrative and compliance matters
    • Assisting international tax specialists in regard to UK businesses expanding overseas, and overseas businesses setting up in the UK
    • Assisting international tax specialists with international tax advice, compliance, project management and administrative aspects

    As your understanding of transfer pricing and international tax issues grows, so will the complexity of your workload.

    What you'll need

    • 2:1 (expected or obtained) in any discipline,
    • A minimum of 120 UCAS points in your A Levels (or equivalent), and
    • A minimum of 6 (or B) in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent).

    About the qualification

    We offer a three-year ACA/CTA training contract under a Level 7 apprenticeship, with a view to becoming a chartered tax adviser.

    Studying as an apprentice won’t impact the time it takes you to complete the qualification, it just means that there's a defined study pathway in place to ensure you have the best chance to succeed. You'll gain technical knowledge and key skills/behaviours to maximise your potential in the role.
