The role
Are you seeking a challenging and impactful role within healthcare? Do you want a fulfilling career with a leading, technology-driven organization? Roche Diagnostics offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and provide direct support to our valued customers as part of the North Customer Centric Field Support Team in the UK. This position involves field-based assignments and focused customer support.
Based in the North Field Support Region, you will deliver electro-mechanical hardware support. Key tasks include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, modifications, and installations. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and uptime of service offerings across several sites and optimizing core service activities. Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders, you will ensure strong alignment between sales and service to deliver exceptional customer solutions.
You will work with various Roche teams to provide outstanding customer service, including attending customer review meetings to discuss achievements and objectives, as needed.
This position requires residency in the North East of England.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure technical success in delivering our service offerings, prioritizing customer needs, and collaborating with technical colleagues & managers.
- Maintain technical effectiveness by championing and upholding technical excellence in all activities, including systems, processes, data, capability, and competence.
- Drive technical customer centricity by supporting customers, responding to market demands, and continuously striving for technical excellence, including continuous improvement and change.
About you
- Ideally, you hold a degree or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or have significant experience at the HNC/HND level.
- You have a solid understanding of complex systems and a history of delivering excellent support.
- You are self-motivated, skilled at troubleshooting, take ownership, and take pride in your work.
- You are a change agent, using a probing approach to issues, driving innovation, and developing others through training, coaching, and mentoring.
- You are resilient and tenacious and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with changing priorities. You possess strong analytical skills and can easily interpret technical, scientific, and numerical information.
