    About the role

    This is a key role within the Risk function to support the Senior Risk Manager in a small but busy team focussing on the investment division and platform which is part of a larger Affluent Risk team.

    We work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business. You will work alongside our Risk and Compliance colleagues across the Risk function. As a key member of the wider Risk and Compliance community you will have opportunities to learn about other areas of the Quilter business.

    This is an ideal role for someone who has experience of operational risk management and would like to move into a strategic focussed role providing advice and guidance directly to the business.

    Key responsibilities include

    • Providing support and challenge in line with the Quilter Risk Management Framework to ensure risk management considerations are an integral part of the business.
    • Supporting the quarterly risk appetite and KI analysis process.
    • Supporting the oversight of risk events and RCSAs.
    • Inputting into investment division and wider Affluent risk reporting.
    • Supporting the Senior Risk Manager with risk deep dives.
    • Building relationships with stakeholders across the business.

    About you

    • Experience in operational risk management preferred.
    • Desire to build knowledge and experience within the business.
    • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
    • Ability to work well in a small, collaborative team.
    • Stakeholder management & relationship building skills.
