Overview

The ‘Collective’ is a cross-agency team at Publicis, delivering seamless service for global automotive brands like Fiat, Vauxhall, Alfa-Romeo, and Jeep. In the UK, the team includes Saatchi’s, Starcom, and Digitas, handling everything from advertising to social media, websites, and eCRM. The global hub for the account is Publicis Sapient in Milan, where the strategic and creative work is developed.

In this role, you’ll support the Social Media Manager and take ownership of community management for your brands (Jeep, Fiat, DS, Alfa-Romeo). This involves responding to consumers in a way that’s engaging and on-brand, while also assisting with reporting, scheduling, and post creation.

You’ll also work closely with the media agency, the social media team, and the copywriter to ensure best practices are followed, with a focus on testing and learning across the brands.

     

Responsibilities

The Digitas Social Media Executive is the voice of the brand online and so plays a pivitol role.  You will believe in excellence in service, quick problem solving and passion for perfection. You should have a passion for all things social media and an interest in automotive.

 

  • Deliver Community Management to agreed guidelines
  • Aim to grow the online communities through engaging community management
  • Be proactive around ideas to improve the service we give to clients
  • Escalate issues quickly and concisely to your line manager so they can be addressed
  • Create a feedback loop – learning from consumers online and using that to improve our tone-of-voice and community management guidelines
  • Build and maintain a triage process with the Customer Care team to ensure complaints and queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently
  • Understand the client’s business and use this to pre-empt requests
  • Manage and set expectations with your clients, building trust through open relationships.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Understand the value social media brings to overall brand metrics
  • Be open to learning and curious to know more
  • Have a passion for digital and social media with a broad knowledge of all mainstream social networks
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships across a multitude of departments, disciplines and levels of stakeholder
  • Strong desire and ability to find ways to add value beyond delivering the tasks given – either through optimising the comms or improving ways-of-working
  • Able to be an essential member of the client team while always supporting the agencies approach and delivering against the agencies agenda
