Your contribution to Prysmian's success
We are looking for an Junior Asset Engineer to join our team in Middlesbrough. You will be assisting the Asset engineers in the management of subsea and top side assets, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity. You will work closely with various departments to support the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.
Full training will be given in this role, and we can consider a recent graduates from an Engineering discipline.
Occasional overseas travel to company vessels, office locations and areas of work is required for this position. You will:
- Asset Management: Assist the Asset team in overseeing the lifecycle of our assets comprising of Prysmian’s fleet of trenchers, ploughs and top side equipment including mobilisation, demobilisation, maintenance and day to day operations such as sourcing and order parts managing requisition trackers with a keen eye on cost saving.
- Inspection and Monitoring: Be involved in regular audits of subsea equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Data Analysis: With the Asset team Analyse data from subsea systems to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Technical Support: Involvement in technical support and troubleshooting for subsea operations and maintenance activities to our teams offshore.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate and support the project management team to plan and execute subsea projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery ensuring the correct tools are selected for the project.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of detailed reports on asset performance, maintenance activities, and project progress utilising Prysmian’s CBMS
You are the right fit if you have/are
- Ideally be educated to Bachelor's degree level in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) however not essential
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in subsea inspection and monitoring technologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
