Penspen’s new, cloud-based digital platform THEIA is a pipeline integrity management software solution, developed as part of our ongoing commitment to digital transformation. Designed to augment client resources and provide critical insights into pipeline integrity, THEIA promotes a safe and cost-efficient complete picture of pipeline assets. Adopting advanced technologies for improved, faster decision-making to help minimise risk is key to solve the industry quadrilemma.

We believe developing a Hydrogen Economy is of national strategic importance for the delivery of clean energy in the UK. With our vision to improve access to sustainable energy for the communities in which we work, we are focusing our three services lines – Engineering and Project Management, Asset Management, Asset Integrity – on the design, installation and operation of the infrastructure needed for an effective and efficient hydrogen value chain.
We are looking for talented engineering graduates in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and Control & Instrumentation to join our team to work on the following projects:
- Repurposing of a National High Pressure Gas Distribution Network to convert to blends of Hydrogen and Natural Gas to eventually 100% Hydrogen
- Repurposing of 8 Gas Fired Power Stations to H2
- Design of Hydrogen Blending Facilities
- Design of Hydrogen Production (both Green & Blue H2) Facilities
- Technology Evaluation studies for Carbon capture, H2 Production, WTE (Waste to Energy)
- Concept and Front End Engineering Design for Hydrogen Hubs (production and distribution)
- Concept and Front End Engineering for large scale H2 Storage utilising salt caverns
- Concept and Front End Engineering of H2 Import facilities
- Concept and Front Engineering of CO2 Capture and Transportation systems
