Requirements: An accredited Engineering degree or international equivalent.
Location: Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City and our cutting edge Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs). We also operate in a hybrid way of working, so there will be a mix of remote working and time in the office depending on the placement and business needs.

The hardware engineering Graduate Programme
- 2 year programme consisting of 4 exciting and varied placements across teams that develop deliver and support our automated engineering systems for today and tomorrow
- You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself with like minded engineers who are working on live business and real engineering challenges
- From developing and testing new technologies and solutions, to getting hands-on with our bots in an operational warehouse, to data analysis on products and components, our engineering graduate scheme will give you an enriching and well rounded experience of engineering at Ocado Group

Not all engineering graduate placements are based at our head offices though! We also give engineering graduates the opportunity to work at our warehouses on implementation, construction and commissioning, and running our engineering operations. There are also chances to work with our global manufacturers and on client sites around the world.
The engineering graduate scheme is flexible to your interests and skills, giving some graduates the opportunity to specialise in specific engineering crafts or stay as a generalist engineer in their second year.
In this role you will develop and refine essential engineering, leadership and personal skills whilst gaining valuable experience across a broad range of areas. Your development will be supported throughout your placements with the use of personal targets and development plans set by your managers. You will be expected to complete various additional training modules to complement your development and engineering and personal career to help you thrive and realise your best potential.
What are we looking for
- We are looking for people with an engineering background. This could come from your degree area, a placement year and hands-on experience.
- Passionate and driven individuals who are excited about working in a fast-paced technology company.
- Inquisitive and proactive individuals, who enjoy taking on new challenges.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred) to travel to sites.
