    The role

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a full time Business Support Officer sitting within the Countywide Generic Team, based at Mercury House in Richmond.

    We require a motivated administrator with good communication and customer care skills suitable for dealing with a full range of service users and professionals, both from North Yorkshire Council and other organisations.

    To be successful you must have

    • good keyboard skills and experience in word, excel, databases and Outlook.
    • good literacy and numeracy skills
    • be able to prioritise your own workload
    • be conscientious, well-organised, have the ability to work unsupervised and flexible in your approach.
    • you must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information; maintaining a good understanding of General Data Protection
    • regulations, ensuring that it is adhered to at all times.
