About the role

Are you ready to make an impact? As a Junior Investment Delivery Planner, you will play a vital role in delivering innovative projects that support both our current natural gas needs and the green gas system of tomorrow. This is an excellent entry-level position for someone with a HNC or a degree (or equivalent) in a STEM discipline who is looking to jump straight into the industry without going through a graduate programme.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised individual with strong analytical skills and a problem solving. You'll support in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, working closely with cross functional teams to plan, track and optimise the execution of investment portfolio planning activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the project lifecycle using the Gas Network Development Process (ND500), from conception to initiation
  • Work alongside portfolio planners to maintain accurate data and information for the investment portfolio plan
  • Collaborate with investment engineers to gather relevant project information and shape project outcomes
  • Contribute to a dynamic team environment and help solve complex problems as they arise

What we’re looking for

Essential

  • HNC or degree (or equivalent) in a STEM discipline
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail in ensuring accuracy in analysis, input and management of all data
  • Teamwork experience and effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive attitude

Desirable 

  • Knowledge and experience of supporting a function within a business
  • Experience in programme management or project planning
  • Working towards obtaining or hold a full UK car driving licence

Our working environment

As part of our hybrid working approach, this role offers a mix of office working in Warwick and home working. You'll need to be able to travel into the Warwick office approx. 2-3 times a week.

Assessment process

We have multiple vacancies available, therefore if your application is shortlisted, you'll be invited to attend an assessment day at our Warwick office (date tbc). This will include a tour of the office, an overview of the company, a short interview/presentation, and a group exercise.
