The Off-Cycle Internship is an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere in the Investment Management Division by taking on some of the responsibilities and functions of a Full-time Analyst for a short period.
The internship will commence in July 2025 and typically lasts 6 months with a potential extension to twelve months, subject to the performance. This internship will offer you an exciting and a dynamic work environment where you get to work alongside our diverse group of experienced professionals. The work that you do will be interesting and varied.

Responsibilities
Interns will have the opportunity to to support development and execution of strategic marketing plans that support MSIM Alternatives Investments platform in the ex-US markets.
This role is central to the generation and deployment of communications that differentiate the value proposition of our products and solutions in an effective manner, with the goal of generating demand for our offerings and amplifying our brand among current and prospective clients.
- Support marketing-related requests from ex-US Sales
- Establish ex-US Sales alternative product priorities table for 2025
- Develop new processes and reports to support the business
- Develop and produce a suite of email templates for external communications, including new launches, time-bound and ongoing capital raising, thought leadership content, webinars and client-specific and/or industry events.
- Webcast set-up and production
- Maintain external and internal events calendar on Monday.com
- Help coordinate speakers, schedule prep calls etc
- Collate feedback and analytics on emails and events (could probably combine with the below)
- Create clear metrics, monitor and report results for events and channel-driven activities to enhance the client and prospect experience.
- Work with EMEA Channel to establish and maintain an alts-focused media advertising calendar in Monday.com
- Manage media advertising deliverables
- Liaise with Alts Product Marketing and other areas of the Morgan Stanley marketing ecosystem to stay current with best practices and ideate new communication tactics and methodologies
- Assist the Ex-US Alts Channel Marketing lead with ad hoc projects.
Qualifications / skills / requirements
- You have graduated from university or able to take the time off to commit for a full time internship role for six months if you are currently in study
- You demonstrate a keen interest in the financial markets
- You have excellent communication skills
- You have an excellent academic background and fluency in English
- You are a strong team player; ability to collaborate with colleagues across MSIM and the broader organization
- You are a self-starter with the ability to work independently
- You are driven, highly motivated and result-focused
- You have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
