We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Private Wealth (Private Client) team, based in our Southampton office.

Day to day
Our Paralegals are a vital part of our team as they undertake a mixture of chargeable and non-chargeable work, managing their own duties whilst supporting other fee earners on their more complex matters. This work might include undertaking research, interpreting case law and/or sharing ideas about how to be reach a positive outcome for our Clients.
Our Private Wealth team typically works with high-net-worth individuals (generally with personal assets ranging from £5m to £20m) and handles the full spectrum of Private Client work. Responsibilities for this role will include taking instructions and preparing:
- Trust planning and implementation
- Trust registrations
- Drafting deeds
- Ensuring compliance of trusts with regulatory requirements
Additionally, the role involves supporting the team on a variety of legal matters related to wealth management and trust administration.
What we are looking for
We are seeking someone who is open, flexible, and excited about learning new things. We are a friendly team who look for the same. You may be a law graduate seeking to kick-start your career in the industry, or a Paralegal or an existing Trust Administrator seeking a fresh challenge.
You should have a passion for excellent client service. Whilst some private client experience would be a distinct advantage, we will also consider individuals who have related work or study experience but can demonstrate a passion for private Client work.
