Will and Matt, two of our graduates were asked about their thoughts and experiences on the Mirus Graduate Programme, here is what they had to say;

Will: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as a graduate engineer within Mirus and have learnt a lot at the same time.

I have been nurtured through guidance from mentors and the continuous requirement to communicate the findings and implications of my work to seniors, other departments and suppliers.”

Matt: “At uni I really enjoyed the CAD modules, and also being hands on. Working at Mirus has given me opportunity to do exactly that. The balance between virtual and practical work has been great and I have enjoyed working on the various projects with the team.

I’ve learnt from the engineers here who have with vast range of knowledge and experience from an array of different engineering fields. I even had the opportunity to visit suppliers within the country and Europe…(I can’t imagine too many grad schemes give you the chance to visit many off-site locations).

Everyone is friendly, helpful and supportive. It’s been good to have made friends, who are now part of my social life outside work, and we go golfing nearly every week. The working environment has a great mixture of serious work but also light-hearted fun.”
