    The role

    The Partnerships team exists to solve Unilever’s business challenges through their strategic partnerships with Amazon, Google, Meta, Snap Inc. and TikTok who command the vast majority of Unilever’s digital media investment in brands.

    The JBP Partnerships team is part of Mindshare’s global team servicing Unilever with the specific remit of directing and administering Unilever’s joint business partnerships with global digital media providers (including Amazon, TikTok, Google, Meta, & Snap Inc.). The team sits within Global Digital Solutions team alongside other digital media experts in eCom, search, eRetail media, Martech, Brand Safety, Audiences, Data Driven Marketing, and Influencers. The role is based in London though collaboration with hubs across NYC and Singapore, and with local teams is a key part of the role.

    As part of this team, the Global Partnerships Executive will support the team in the delivery of client requests, partner status and alignment on the JBP workstreams, Credit distribution, as well as the documentation and upskilling of key guidance and recommendations around partners’ media products, product evolution, best practice application, and case studies on performance.

    The ideal candidate should have an initial level of understanding of digital media and commerce platforms, as they will need to develop a strong and detailed understanding of the current global media platform ecosystem (including but not limited to Amazon, TikTok, Google, Meta, & Snap Inc.). Clear communication skills, strong project management, and the ability to liaise with the many stakeholders involved will be vital, as well as an appetite to learn given the constantly evolving nature of digital media.

    Responsibilities

    Global Partnership 

    • Work alongside the Global Partnerships Account Directors to deliver outstanding Unilever client management in supporting the JBP relationships and workstreams
    • Support on the development and/or onboarding of new partnerships working closely with the AD on identification, evaluation and strategic value add both globall & locally
    • Support the Mindshare Digital Solutions team across all relevant workstreams to help facilitate their end-to-end completion
    • Support the Mindshare DEN team in ensuring brand safety is effectively iterated throughout existing and/or new JBP workstreams/products where relevant.
    • Build/maintain local market relationships relevant to Unilever’s partnership workstreams
    • Management of all Unilever guidance documents including distribution across local agencies & updating the documents where necessary
    • Support on the clear communication to local agency teams regarding the commercial and/or strategic benefits of the JBPs
    • Data collection for reporting
    • Support the AD on client/partner meeting co-ordination
    • Management of adhoc requests
    • Keep up to date on all things partner, media and technology

    Amazon Partnership 

    • Help to integrate, support, and evolve current Amazon JBP into the global structure.
    • Support AD on Amazon partnership to allow for strategic synergy for Unilever, Mindshare & other agencies
    • Support and lead on ensuring Amazon strategies and best practices are communicated effectively to the relevant Unilever stakeholders, agencies and brands.
    • Support on the global test and learn plan by identifying & collecting best practice results to implement into relevant workstreams

    The ideal candidate

    • A good understanding of the media environment and the industry of key partners/publishers
    • Interest and curiosity in digital media and/or new technology
    • Effective communication, negotiation and organisational skills
    • A strong can-do attitude with the effective impact on problem solving

    Essential criteria

    • Some initial experience in a marketing role or agency
    • A team player who is comfortable in collaborating with a high number of colleagues and/or external stakeholders
    • Strong attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Good data analytical skills
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office – particularly Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel

    Desirable criteria

    • Full understanding of Unilever brands and their offering
    • Personal interest in platforms (Amazon, Youtube, TikTok, Instagram, etc) capabilities
    • Knowledge of international culture or language skills beyond English
