The UK is one of the firms’ largest growth markets where it helps institutions (pension funds/charities), intermediaries (wealth and financial advisers) and end investors (high net worth/ individual investors) structure and run their investment portfolios.
Mindshare has managed the media planning and buying for the account globally since 2015.
Job Purpose
The team is a hybrid operation split between EMEA client leadership and UK local planning. This role will sit within the EMEA client leadership team and will have an impact on rolling out planning strategies, focusing on coordinating the campaign planning and implementation process across the markets.
The individual will support upon the development/application of media plans, roll-out new processes/operations across the teams and manage local markets onboarding and successes.
The Account Executive is responsible for the implementation of operational processes in EMEA. You will support the markets on ensuring the timely delivery of operational outputs in EMEA.
Responsibilities
Project, team, and client co-ordination: Lensure timely completion of tasks, building rapport with Mindshare local teams, clients and vendors
Campaign Planning and Buying: Understanding the regional strategy and its local application, helping markets to keep to media planning timelines and operational procedures related to plans i.e. POs, vendor selection etc.
Campaign Implementation: You will be responsible for overseeing the production of campaign assets, working closely with external parties such a clients, creative and production agencies. You will also be the lead on Ad Operations liaison between the markets and the central Ad Operations team.
Campaign Reporting: Financial and performance reporting are crucial to the account management procedure. Yourself, along with the Client Leadership team, will review the billing tracker output on a rolling basis to ensure efficiencies and effectiveness are met. You will oversee the analytical reporting outputs, develop insights and learnings that have implications that lead to campaign optimisations.
About the Team and Reporting Structure
We are a hardworking and close-knit group of colleagues who deliver high standards of work to local and regional clients. There is a balance of locally led media planning and execution in addition to centrally led collaboration at a Pan-European and Global level. We are required to manage multiple workstreams across different lines of business.
Reporting into the Account Director, you will be supported by an Account Manager who also work in the EMEA Leadership team. You will also work in collaboration with the wider agency team; spanning strategy, social, ad-ops, business planning and research.
Relationships
The Account Executive will have direct client contact, leading the day to day production and financial management workstream. You will foster strong working relationships with our media, creative agency, and technology vendors, providing pro-active solutions to any challenges faced. Finally, you will build rapport with the rest of the team as well as other colleagues elsewhere within the Mindshare group.

Essential Criteria
- Strong numeric and analytical skills
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks/work streams simultaneously
- Able to deliver work to agreed deadlines as well as strong attention to detail
- Presentation skills – writing presentations according to objectives and audience as well as presenting when necessary. Some experience of Microsoft’s suite of office tools – particularly excel and PowerPoint
- Hunger to learn about the media buying and campaign management process (inc. invoicing)
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in working with finance clients, preferably in investment/asset management.
