    Purpose of role

    The Continuous Improvement, Process & Analysis Team are central to the business’ ability to evolve and improve. Working across Product Development business areas and cross-functionally, they proactively seek opportunities for improvement.

    The Project Analysts support Programme Managers in delivery of projects, taking responsibility for data analysis in various areas including, but not restricted to; Programme timing, Product definition, creation and tracking of ETRS, build tracking and change management. They also play a key role in the development of new processes to help the business achieve it’s long-term business plan and vision to be ‘The Iconic Sports Car Company’.

    Principal accountabilities

    • Project Definition
      • BOM analysis
      • Support product specification definition and change management (TIB)
      • Support Programme timing definition and critical path planning
    • ETRS
      • Manage Engineering Timing release schedule data and reporting
      • Confirm critical path to VP SIP
      • Chair ETRS meetings with stakeholders to encourage cross-functional collaboration.
      • Generate KPIs for project reviews and Gateways
    • Change Management
      • Create and maintain part trackers for new programmes as required.
      • Hold meetings with stakeholders to identify parts and/or commodities that either change or risk the next build phase.
      • Lead regular meetings, working with stakeholders to update timing in line with project timing requirements. 
      • Provide regular metrics to highlight risks to the project team.
      • Support Product Data Management activities which trigger changes to individual vehicle BOMs in accordance with vehicle specifications.
    • Build Data
      • Prototype build specifications
      • VP MPL management
      • Define BDR requirements with Engineering teams
      • Manage BDR tracking and reporting to Job 1 (G8), supporting application of BDRs to lineside
      • Manage uplift requirement definition and tracking
      • Support obsolescence data management
      • Manage the tracking of exception parts alongside the Project Lead and support cross-functional collaboration to ensure robust application throughout build.
    • Manage the Programme KPI Dashboard and reporting, ensuring consistency across all programmes.
    • Develop data and reporting process and tool improvements, including standardisation across programmes.

    About you

    Knowledge, skills and experience

    • Knowledge of automotive and/or aerospace processes.
    • Knowledge of the Release Process would be an advantage
    • STEM Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
    • Advanced level of the Microsoft suite is essential
    • Experience of Visual Basic an advantage
    • Confident presentation skills and excellent organisation skills.
