What you’ll do

Mastercard works to connect and power a sustainable and inclusive global economy. Software engineers at Mastercard build the systems that process transactions, analyse data and detect fraud to gain insight into the direction of the economy on behalf of our customers. We are focused on building simple, safe and smart solutions that instil trust in every interaction. Our industry expertise is enhanced by our commitment to being a force for good in the world and to doing well by doing good.

Mastercard software engineering teams are obsessed with security, reliability, and performance and driven to deliver solutions that delight our customers. We are looking for talented software engineers to develop advanced technologies and applications that are revolutionizing payments.

  • A hands-on engineer who writes high-quality code with a focus on security, design, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to all phases of software development from design through rollout.
  • Have strong ownership of your team’s software including monitoring, dependencies, build, and deployments.

What you’ll need

  • To be available for start from 4th September 2023
  • To be a Final Year Masters/Undergraduate Student or to have graduated no earlier than September 2022
  • Studying Computer Science, Engineering or similar
  • Experience using Python, Java, C#, JavaScript or similar
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong strategic and conceptual aptitude
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
  • High-energy, can-do attitude, very strong sense of ownership and desire to succeed with commensurate analytical, technical, and strategic skills

COVID-19 Considerations

In many locations, we’ve implemented a virtual hiring process and continue to interview candidates by video or phone.
