Job purpose

We are seeking a creative and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. Whether you're a recent graduate or have some professional experience, you'll bring your proficiency in design software and a passion for visual storytelling to the role.

Our work spans various media, including websites, apps, printed materials, physical signage, and social media. An understanding of how these elements interact and complement each other to represent The Club’s overall brand and image is highly advantageous.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborating with multiple departments to understand project objectives and requirements.
  • Generating creative ideas and concepts to meet client briefs.
  • Developing innovative designs within project constraints (time, brand guidelines, etc.).
  • Retouching and optimising images for both print and digital outputs.
  • Producing high-quality, accurate work with attention to detail, proof-reading, and design consistency.
  • Work closely with the content creation and digital teams to deliver cohesive campaigns and support other creatives to produce engaging content.
  • Develop and promote the use of the brand guidelines internally, and ensure that they are being followed correctly.
  • Reviewing layouts, fonts, colours, and other design elements before passing completed work to senior designers or other teams.
  • Managing and organising design files and ensuring that all library files are up to date and easily accessible.
  • Following project schedules and maintaining accurate records of time spent on tasks.

Main job requirements and person specification

Education/Qualifications/Training:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience or understanding of website design and social media asset creation is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to contributing new ideas.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent visual theme across diverse channels and formats.
  • An interest in keeping up with the latest design trends and software developments.
  • A passion for design and creativity.
  • The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Confidence in handling multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines.
  • Enthusiasm for bringing new ideas to the table and constantly improving your skills.

  • This a Full-Time role, based in our Luton Office
