The main responsibilities of this role are centralized around supporting the Senior Visual Merchandising Manager in delivering merchandising standards consistently across the business, communicating campaigns to the stores and reporting and archiving campaign activity.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Stores / Campaign

  • Write the Communication Campaign Package (CCP) for every campaign (set-up window, tables, prepare layout, schematics) and deliver the final copy 2 weeks in advance of the campaign beginning. Follow-up with the departments and collate their information (Marketing Team / Digital / L&D /Stock / Warehouse).
  • Provide bespoke CCP for the Flagship, Trues Stories stores, small sizes stores and specific window concept.
  • Ensure promotional window installations are completed by the required deadlines.
  • Ahead of the campaign launch, put together a presentation with VM inspirations, best practices (M-4).
  • Drive the Campaign VM review: order in advance products, VM signage, props, relevant for the review. Put together the powerpoint presentation and present it at the review.
  • Brief the Design Team in house on all Key Visuals and VM signage required for the Campaigns.
  • Ensure that all the window and merchandising props are delivered on time in the UK warehouse.
  • Collate the Campaign Pictures for each campaigns
  • Props sourcing (locally) for campaign implementation if needed & implementation on time.
  • Merchandising tools sourcing (locally).
  • Manage the VM signage, schematics and ticketing requirements for new and existing products and fixtures.
  • Collate the store requests and place the orders every week.
  • Manage the Retail Marketing Intern

Stock Team

  • Provide visual merchandising minimum quantities for every campaign (novelties / regular products).

Warehouse

  • Schedule and organise the window props split at the warehouse for each campaign.
  • Make sure that the props allocation in VM room is updated. In order to achieve this, you will have to visit the warehouse / VM room 3 times per year.
  • Place order of useful products / props in order to set-up the next campaign in the showroom

New Stores

  • You will on occasion, assist with new store openings which will include working away from home/and overnight.
  • Support the Senior Visual Merchandising Manager with the new floorplans, new signage printing order, props, etc…

Competition Monitoring

  • Every 2 months prepare key merchandising / window display learning’s from competitors.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Ability to maintain brand integrity through visual display techniques

  • Basic Photoshop and InDesign skills
  • Proficient in MS Office & IWD or equivalent planogram program

What we need from you

  • Have a minimum experience of 2 years in Visual Merchandising
  • Experience in the beauty or cosmetics industry is preferable
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent brand understanding
  • Project Management experience – proven ability to plan and manage projects end-to-end
  • Have the ability to work at all levels of the organisation and develop relationships throughout the business to foster two-way communications
  • Have strong planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Strong awareness of cosmetic market trends
  • Understanding of design and composition aesthetics
