The role

Kukoon is seeking a Content Creator to help us conquer the world...of social media, at least. As our Content Creator, you'll be responsible for achieving the perfect strategy to grow our followers, help us achieve our vision of ‘becoming the name you think of when you think of rugs’ and take over the social media universe... Simples! You'll need to know how to come up with innovative ideas that turn a boring day in the office into a viral TikTok challenge and work with our team to create Instagram posts and Youtube videos that have our fans begging for more️.

What else will I be doing

  • Content Plan - Create regular, imaginative and impactful content ideas that align to our brand identity and marketing objectives. Research industry-related topics and co-ordinate with the Marketing and Media plan.
  • Track - Analyse social media metrics and insights to evaluate performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations based on data
  • Trends - Stay up-to-date with social media trends, audience preferences, and competitor activity to inform our content strategy and enhance performance.
  • Engage - Engage with our followers, respond promptly to comments and messages, and cultivate a sense of community to strengthen brand loyalty and drive conversions.
  • Influencer - Develop and maintain ongoing influencer relationships and analyse return on investment.
  • Team Player - Collaborate with the Marketing Team on campaigns and support activities beyond social media, such as Interiors Showcases and Launch events.
  • Events - Assist with product launches and events, visiting and creating content for our retail partnerships across Ireland.

What we're looking for in you

  • We're on the hunt for someone who lives outside the box and brings fresh, fun ideas to the table. If you see puns and dad jokes as an art form, you're halfway there! A love for home interiors is a major plus. Join us and let your creativity shine!
  • A talent for creating engaging, shareable content that can go viral, you’ll love being in front of the camera and the face of Kukoon.
  • A bold and risk-taking attitude to push boundaries and inject a touch of sass into our brand’s social media presence.
  • A thorough knowledge of growing social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, with a focus on delivering high-quality creative content.
  • But it's not all fun and games (although it mostly is). You'll need to have the analytical skills of a data scientist to know what's working and what's not, and be as flexible as a yoga instructor (because social media trends change faster than it takes us to eat a Nugelato!)

This role is based in our Newry offices. We like to look lovingly at each other across the office floor and throw paper airplanes so unfortunately no remote working is available!
