As a Technology Intern at King, you can either get involved with the making of the games, where you together with your colleagues take part in the process of specifying, designing, building and implementing existing and new game features.     Our backends are part of an independent team but develop features in close collaboration with game and corporate teams. As a backend, you’ll need to design APIs, solve scalability challenges & write clean code; you bring solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms, you are familiar with Java and understand client- server architecture.

    Our game developers work on both new and live games, implementing game mechanics, features, and technologies that will be enjoyed by millions of players all over the world. We use and develop a wide variety of technologies across the full stack, working and learning together as a team, and constantly learning from each other.

    For this opportunity, it would be nice to have some experience in using C++. Having Unity or other game engine knowledge is a bonus, as well as having scripting experience from University/independent projects.

    Game Engine Developer Intern Opportunities in London

    Our engine developers work on improving and maintaining our cross- platform mobile engine, editor and toolchain. You will contribute to developing and refining new and existing features on behalf of our dozens of live production game teams. You will learn about the challenges faced by artists, coders, and designers, and build the technology that helps them to continuously deliver their projects. Ideally, you are experienced with C++ and passionate about building technology, games and might even have had experience with game engines yourself.

    IT Support Intern Opportunities in Stockholm London

    IT Asset Management ensures our hardware and software are maintained correctly through their lifecycle, from purchasing to disposal. Hardware at King is connected to a multitude of systems in order to provide us data that we need for maintaining the asset, software installations, patching, purchase forecasting, supporting users and general management the hardware fleet. You’ll work together with other interns in our larger locations on a mini- project related to Asset Management! Ideal skills to assist the IT with Asset Management include a sharp attention to detail, generic asset management knowledge, generic procurement knowledge, Microsoft Excel/Sheets knowledge, some project planning knowledge and beginner proficiency in Windows and MacOS environments.”
