As Electrical Engineer your responsibilities will include

  • Implementing planned maintenance programmes and schedules recommending improvements where appropriate, to ensure efficiencies are maximised.
  • Work with planners and SAP Maintenance systems to ensure Planned tasks and spare parts are ready for planned asset interventions.
  • Working closely with and supporting the Project Engineering Team to deliver key critical elements of the business CAPEX plan.
  • Carrying out all duties in accordance with safe working practices and factory standards including management of change systems.
  • Producing detailed written CAPA reports when and where required to understand RCPS countermeasures.
  • Mentoring and training others, including the development of training materials.
  • Liaising with external suppliers and contractors relating to automation control and electrical issues

In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the centre. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • If you have prior experience of working within the Paper, FMCG or Chemical Industries (or other regulated industries) – then great! If not, here’s where you will be able to gain a wealth of experience in our industry.
  • You’ll be able to demonstrate your previous experience of Electrical Engineering
  • You’ll also be able to demonstrable your Electrical experience in an ever changing technical environment including networks and site infrastructure.
  • Experience in progressive manufacturing cultures using TPM, involvement in LV/HV systems is desirable.
  • Ideally, you’ll be Apprentice trained, hold an appropriate HNC, Degree or National Qualifications level 5.

We are looking for someone who has a logical and methodical approach and can be relied upon to see the job through to the end. You will be a natural problem solver, tenacious and will use creativity, innovation and an analytical approach to exhaust all options until a solution is found. A proactive attitude with a flair for quick and efficient learning which equips you well to adapt to the latest technologies.
