Job summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources Assistant to support our HR team The successful candidate will assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for candidates and hiring managers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience in HR and talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Candidate Sourcing:
  • Assist in sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Screening & Coordination:
  • Review CVs and applications to identify suitable candidates.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Communicate with candidates about the recruitment process, including interview details and follow-ups.
  • Job Posting:
  • Assist in creating and posting job advertisements on various platforms.
  • Ensure job postings are updated and accurately reflect the roles and requirements.
  • Candidate Engagement:
  • Help in maintaining a positive candidate experience by answering questions and providing updates.
  • Send rejection emails to unsuccessful applicants.
  • Collaborative Support:
  • Support the main recruiter with ad-hoc tasks and recruitment events as required.
  • Attend career fairs and recruitment events to assist with candidate attraction.
  • Onboarding:
  • Support and assist with the onboarding process.
  • Ad hoc administrative duties

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong interest in human resources, recruitment, or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an administrative or recruitment-related role is a plus.
  • 5 GCSE’s (A-C) including English and Math
