The role
This is an entry level position but very much focused on developing the right candidate. You will need the ability to review geotechnical reports and understand them, understand energy and carbon management and governmental reporting. You will also need the want and interest to develop into carrying out environmental incident investigations.
It would be beneficial if you had an understanding of noise or dust monitoring and understands about raising consents or developing section 61 notices.
You will need to show a natural curiosity in the world around you and an intellectual inquisitiveness to help problem solve
There will be an element of data entry in this role which will form the foundations of future development.
About you
You will be expected to work nationally and will on occasion be expected to stay away from home for the odd night.
- Some idea of Construction Sites
- Basic Knowledge of what is EMS (Environmental Management System) and Sustainability and sustainable supply chain.
- Excellent IT Skills (MS Office, software, data management and data entry)
- Will assist in reporting, inspections and site visits and audits
- An intellectual curiosity
- Ability to drive- due to travel to sites nationwide
- Logical and analytical thought processes with high level of attention to details
