The Project Accounting Assistant provides the project accounting team with support on financial and administrative matters, including but not restricted to setting up contracts and billing. Our ideal candidate is someone with good communication skills who is perhaps at the start of their finance career and keen to develop within a supportive team.
Key accountabilities
Billing
- Raising of sales invoices on the SAP system
- Liaise closely with project teams to ensure prompt accurate billing
Project administration
- Maintain contracts through SAP
- Provide adequate Persuasive Evidence for revenue reporting
- Develop into an expert user of our bespoke project accounting software, Procim.
- Assist the Project Accounting Manager and other members of the Finance department with ad hoc projects
Key working relationships
- Project managers and the finance team
About you
- Some finance experience – degree or AAT
- Excel skills (intermediate lookups, pivot tables)
