The INEOS O&P business in Grangemouth has an ongoing rolling program of projects across the site, including work in asset turnarounds in 2025 and 2026.
The Project Services Team is seeking support with engineering documentation and technical data input to support delivery of multiple projects. This is a diverse role including project document control, document management, maintenance equipment records and project team reporting.
The role would suit a recent Graduate with work experience and with engineering or document management qualification, keen interest in data and attention to detail who is confident and strives for continual improvement. Initially a 1 year contract but the role will have longevity for the right applicant.
Job Purpose
To accurately control engineering technical data, drawings and documentation to support concurrent project delivery.
Principle Accountabilities
- Control project drawings and documents from receipt, recording and distribution to internal and 3 rd party personnel.
- Upload drawings and documents to the site document management system for projects and adhoc asset updates.
- Create new equipment tag numbers and update technical information to the maintenance database by following designer populated attribute sheets.
- Track and report on project document status including punch list items, technical queries, key performance indicators and various other activities for all project teams.
- Support completions engineers with collation of punch lists, red line drawings and certification.
- Scan, copy and print engineering drawings for internal teams.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
You will have:
- Ability to organise workload / high level of efficiency.
- Ability to communicate and network effectively across various levels both within INEOS and with 3rd party companies.
- Motivated to deliver on all actions to a high standard and in line with project schedule.
- Proactive in setting up of project requirements, querying anomalies and resolving issues methodically.
- Ability to gather and analyse data and information and to report recommendations with justification (MS Office literate)
- Commitment to excellent SHE performance and zero tolerance for unsafe conditions/ behaviours.
You may have:
- Qualifications in an engineering discipline, document/information management or minimum two years working on large engineering or construction environments preferred.
- Working knowledge of document control systems and processes.
- Experience and understanding of engineering and supplier documentation.
