IKEA are looking to welcome a Graphic Communications Assistant to support with effectively creating and communicating information to internal and external stakeholders that strengthens the uniqueness and consistency of the IKEA Identity. Part of this role will involve internal communications to co-workers, where you will support in executing consistent communications to Exeter's in-store team to create awareness of IKEA key messages. Interviews will be the week commencing 24 March.

- Starting salary of £26,401 based on competence and experience.
- 39 hours a week, working 5 days per week. In addition, working 1 in 5 Sundays will be expected.

What you'll need to have
- Demonstrated experience of using graphic design and video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite) and production tools.
- Education in graphic communication design, media and/or typography.
- Proven ability to prioritise and organise your workload in order to make the most efficient use of available time and meet agreed goals and deadlines.
- Clear communication with the ability to explain concepts verbally and with visual interpretation.
- Practical hands-on approach, feeling at ease working with various hand tools and comfortable working at heights.
- Ability to communicate confidently and clearly and influence a wider network of stakeholders.
- You enjoy working in an independent and autonomous role.
What you'll be doing day-to-day
- Use graphic communication competence to strengthen the uniqueness and consistency of the IKEA identity.
- Plan, implement and evaluate store communications to ensure that it conveys the benefits of the IKEA Concept, Brand and Culture, as well as best practices, guidelines and national directions.
- Respect routines and responsibilities, working together with the stakeholders in the store, and acting quickly to capitalise on commercial opportunities and understand the impact of your actions on the financial results.
- Secure consistent internal communications for our co-workers, so that they can receive understandable information around events, employee benefits, and key communications pieces from Service Office.
