The role

We’re looking for a self-motivated national account executive to manage and develop a designated account base and assist with major UK accounts across all categories of the business including books, stationery and toys.

This is the perfect opportunity to develop and grow a career in sales, within a leading book, stationery, craft and toy supplier.

Key responsibilities

  • Management of designated accounts working towards targets and KPIs
  • Work alongside the senior national account manager to identify and create opportunities for leading UK accounts
  • Account development through relationships and retailer opportunities
  • Develop a strong understanding of the book, stationery and toy industry to support future growth
  • Analysis of retailer sales data to identify additional opportunities and initiatives
  • Present NPD and run strategy meetings with designated customers on a frequent basis
  • Deliver first class customer service to each account responsibility
  • Develop strong working relationships and communication with all internal departments

Qualifications and experience

  • No sales experience necessary, however working within a sales-based environment would be an advantage
  • A self-motivated team player who always goes the extra mile
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent problem solving and trouble-shooting skills with an analytical and forward thinking approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong mathematical and numerical skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within team
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is essential
  • Positive can-do attitude
