In this role you will work in a fast-paced conveyancing department which specialises in new build and shared ownership transactions. You will be speaking with clients and referrers daily whilst progressing their files. You will work closely with the Shared Ownership Division Leader, who will be close at hand to support you developing in the role as well as the other fee earners in the team.
The day to day
- Assisting on the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold property for New Build and Shared Ownership
- Assisting in dealing with financial arrangements related to property acquisitions on behalf of buyer / lender including mortgage arrangements, LISA and Gifts
- To create and coordinate correspondence and document files for each individual client matter according to the standards laid down by the firm and other governing bodies
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and with other professional contacts
- Assist fee earners in promotion and marketing activities of the team
What experience do I need?
To be successful in this role you should have strong experience of a legal admin role ideally within a conveyancing team.
